Teenage Diapers

This autumn, Ontex Group launched enhanced teenage incontinence trousers designed to specifically address the psychological impact of incontinence in young people. This innovative product prioritises privacy and provides young people with the confidence to move freely.

Annick De Poorter, Chief Innovation and Sustainability Officer at Ontex Group, says: ‘The impact of the COVID-19 outbreak has left many children facing social anxiety, particularly those experiencing incontinence. Our goal in designing these trousers is to support children in their social interactions.’

These trousers are tailored for children and teenagers aged 3 to 15 who experience incontinence, and are suitable for those who are able to stay dry during the day but may face challenges at night, as well as those who are troubled by physical issues.

The incontinence trousers provide protection for people with severe incontinence, with a soft, natural base layer and an improved fit for freedom of movement. The production process of the incontinence trousers significantly reduces the environmental impact compared to conventional production processes. The amount of waste generated is also minimised.
